Hand-drawn wildlife, mountain landscapes, and folklore-inspired pieces. Each artwork tells a story of the natural beauty and rich heritage of Wales.

Welsh Mountain Collection

Tryfan
£22.00

Wales has some of the most beautiful Mountains in the world, ranging from the majestic Snowdon to the craggy Tryfan.

Cadair Idris
£22.00

Wales has some of the most beautiful Mountains in the world, ranging from the majestic Snowdon to the craggy Tryfan.

In this collection I have decided to mix some of the famous mountains with some local favourites, this one being the most well known.

Cadair Idris is a popular mountain in Wales and is said to have been used by a giant as a chair to gaze up at the stars. However, should any man decide to sleep on the mountain, it is said that they would awaken either a mad man or a poet.

A big thank you to everyone who requested this as the third on in the set, a fourth one will follow soon.

It was carefully hand drawn with pen and ink with attention given to as much accurate detail as possible and is printed on beautiful soft textured heavy weight paper.

Cnicht
£22.00

Wales has some of the most beautiful Mountains in the world, ranging from the majestic Snowdon to the craggy Tryfan.

In this collection I have decided to mix some of the famous mountains with some local favourites, this one being the most well known.

Cnicht, derived from the Anglo Saxon word for 'knight' bestowed on it by medieval sailors who noted its resemblance when viewed from the sea to a bassist helmet. Also fondly referred to as 'The Welsh Matterhorn".

This illustration was carefully hand drawn with pen and ink with attention given to as much accurate detail as possible and is printed on beautiful soft textured heavy weight paper.

A border has been left around the sides to assist with framing.

Why not collect the set of all the beautiful mountains.

About Hannah

I'm Hannah, an artist on the Welsh borders.

From my studio overlooking the Dee Valley, I celebrate the wildlife, landscapes, and folklore of Wales through my paintings and illustrations.

This is a land where poetry and legend are woven into the very fabric of the place, and where the northern landscapes remain beautifully wild and unspoiled.

Fauna & Flora of Wales

From red kites soaring overhead to foxes in the hedgerows, discover the creatures that make Wales special.

Winter Robin
from £22.00

In Welsh tradition, the robin's red breast carries the fire of the sun through the winter solstice—a tiny flame-keeper in the darkest days. There's an old custom: make a wish when you see the first robin of the year, but you must do it before it flies away, or luck will elude you in the months ahead.

This piece was inspired by the robins who visit my North Wales garden each winter. Despite their delicate stick-thin legs, they're wonderfully bossy, watching me with the companionship of old friends as I work outdoors. There's something magical about that mutual observation—the sense that we're sharing the same quiet winter moment.

Created with intricate pen and ink line work layered with moody watercolours and soft pencil, this print captures both the wild tangle of winter hedgerows and the bright spark of hope the robin brings.

What Collectors Say

I commissioned Hannah to do a digital portrait of my dog. I had previously seen and purchased some of her work.

I absolutely love Hannah's style and  had full confidence that she would create something amazing to remember my dog by. The whole process was really easy and considered. I couldn't be more happy with the final result. Hannah captured everything I wanted from a pet portrait and in her amazing drawing style. Thank you Hannah.

“Bought the Badger A3 Pen and Ink Illustration Print for a new home gift. Absolutely delighted - depiction of the badger brings it very much to life within a lovely artistic style. Many thanks!”

Public Art Commission: Llangollen Wayfinders

I'm proud to have two pieces featured in the Llangollen Wayfinders project.

The 'Otter' welcomes visitors along the canal, while 'Llangollen Bridge at Night' sits at the historic bridge - one of the seven wonders of Wales.

These wayfinders are now permanent fixtures in the town, and you can bring the prints home from my website or pick them up with an excellent coffee at Riverbanc on Bridge Street.

Mary Parry (Limited Print)
from £80.00

Marry Parry does not suffer fools gladly. Her expression, captured in a moment of firm dignity, is the sort that tells you exactly what she thinks — and it’s probably not to be questioned.

Originally photographed by John Thomas in the late 1800s, Marry is a brilliant example of the fierce personality behind traditional dress. Her hands are clasped neatly; her gaze is unflinching.

There’s humour here too — something defiant and alive beneath the surface. Reimagined in fine pen-and-ink style, this portrait celebrates strength, tradition, and the enduring spirit of Welsh women.

Reimagined in finely detailed pen-and-ink style, this larger format print brings even greater impact. At A2 size (42 cm by 59.4 cm), it makes a striking statement on the wall and allows the intricacy of the linework to shine. While it will fit a standard A2 frame, I recommend using a slightly larger frame with a mount to give the piece room to breathe and add a sense of formality.

This is part of the Welsh Ladies & Gentlemen Collection, celebrating six historical figures from Wales. Each one was carefully selected from the archives of the National Library of Wales and drawn with their permission.

This limited edition of 100 prints of my original illustration.

Llangollen Bridge at Night
£12.00

Continuing with landmarks around north Wales, Llangollen Bridge is one of the seven wonders of Wales, and was the first stone bridge built to span the River Dee.

Special thanks goes to Allan Potts who permitted me to work from his fabulous photo. The image depicts the International Eisteddfod (an event which Llangollen hosts every year) with flags hanging above the bridge. The river is calm and reflects the bridge lights beautifully at night time.

Illustrated in block print style and professionally printed onto A3 photo satin 200g paper. This poster looks great in an A2 frame with surrounding mount. Frame not included.

A perfect gift for anyone who has lived or visited Llangollen, perhaps during the International Eisteddfod.

Grizzly Bear
£40.00

A giclee print of a ruggedly handsome grizzly bear, on route somewhere whilst full of thought.

Using pen and ink, this print is in simple black and white preventing any distraction from the multitude of lines which flow all over the body.

This is a limited edition of 100 prints of my original illustration and has a 1 inch faint border around the edge (slightly wider than in the pictures above).

The whole print measures A3 - 11.75 x 16.5 inches {29.8cm x 41.8cm}

Roses in Vase
£40.00

This is a print of a detailed oil painting of full pink roses in a vase, close to the window so only they catch the light while the rest of the room stays dark with a rich background feel.

There are a lot of things going on in the reflection of the vase to pick out (other objects on the dining table which you would usually find, but I wont ruin it for you to work out).

Initially a photo, taken last summer, the light was catching their rich, pink shades beautifully and they were just beginning to drop their petals which was adding a lovely bit of drama.

My skills in oil painting were very much pushed to their limits with this painting - it started of with an idea of a simpler looser style but soon changed as I got more excited with mixing so many different shades of pink.

Printed on heavy weight archival textured paper, archival inks this giclée print is created using quality materials.

1 inch border around the print allows for easy framing

Wrapped in acid free tissue paper and rolled into a strong postal tube for shipping.

Ships within 3 working days.
